(INDIANAPOLIS) – Senator David Vinzant (D-Hobart) released the following statement at the close of his first floor session representing state Senate District 3:

“It is an honor to be sworn in today as Senator for District 3. Thank you to my new colleagues for the warm welcome. I know that time is short this session, but I want my neighbors and fellow Hoosiers to know that I am here for them and ready to get to work. My time in the private sector and on the Hobart City Council has taught me the difference that cooperation, creative thinking, and attention to detail can make for nuts-and-bolts policymaking. Those are the values that will guide my work here in the Senate.

“I encourage the people of District 3 to reach out to my office any time.”
