This weekend, I had a great time at the Caroline Avenue Block Party and Sidewalk Sale! It was a pleasure to connect with neighbors and constituents from the district, talk about the recent legislative session and hear what’s on your minds. I also brought along some toys for the kids. It’s always important to make space for joy while building stronger communities. Thanks to everyone who came out! #INForAll
Tomorrow is National Night Out! I’ll be joining both the Community Alliance of the Far Eastside (CAFÉ), the City of Lawrence and the Neighborhood of Washington Park for their celebrations. This annual event is a wonderful opportunity to connect with neighbors, strengthen community bonds and promote safer, more supportive neighborhoods. Hope to see you there! #INForAll
