INDIANAPOLIS—On Friday, Assistant Democratic Leader Eddie Melton (D-Gary) will be joining Culinary Dreamers Inc. in their first Annual Farm to Table Mixer. The event aims to introduce new and healthy recipes, foods and cooking techniques to participants.

“Too many Hoosiers throughout the state, including in my district, don’t have access to healthy food or healthy food recipes,” Sen. Melton said. “This event will offer participants demonstrations and advice on how to grow, prepare and cook fresh food for their families. 

“I’m excited to be joining this first annual mixer, and I’m looking forward to presenting my own live cooking demonstration for those who come out. It’s going to be an educational and fun event, and I encourage families up in Northwest Indiana to get their tickets, and join us this Friday.”
