INDIANAPOLIS ─ On Saturday morning, April 17th, State Senator J.D. Ford (D─Indianapolis) hosted a Hiking Town Hall where constituents had the opportunity to speak with their State Senator in a socially-distanced, safe manner. The group hiked the Blue Trail and Eagle Creek Park, walking counterclockwise to make the town hall accessible to constituents with disabilities.
When asked about the town hall, Sen. Ford had the following statement:
“I cherish these personal moments with constituents where we can candidly discuss priorities for our district and great state. I’d like to thank everyone that came to my Hiking Town Hall on Saturday for taking time out of their weekend to share their thoughts with me. I had a great time and I plan to host more of these town halls in the future where we can continue to discuss important issues and appreciate the beauty of our local trails.”
