Indianapolis – On Tuesday, Governor Holcomb delivered his State of the State address to Indiana. State Senator Tim Lanane (D-Anderson) released the following response:

“I’m disappointed with the governor’s failure to sufficiently report on the struggles of Hoosiers. As we continue to deal with this public health crisis, many people are unable to pay their rent and utility bills. Over the past year, people have lost wages or saw that their wages were not enough to help them through an emergency. Inadequate compensation benefits have only worsened the circumstances of workers during these difficult times. After this year, more than anything, Hoosiers are in need of assistance and support, and any address that does not acknowledge that and propose solutions to appropriately address it, is sorely out of touch.”
