(INDIANAPOLIS) – This week, Senator David Vinzant (D – Gary) was appointed by his caucus to serve on the Indiana Veterans’ Affairs Commission. He released the following statement:

“I am thrilled to join the Indiana Veterans’ Affairs Commission and continue the work I started last session as a member of the Senate Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs and the Military. Thank you to my colleague Senator J.D. Ford for your years of service on the Commission, and thank you to Senate Minority Leader Greg Taylor for entrusting me with this important work. Hoosier veterans need our support. I will bring my long record of sound public financial management to this body’s vital mission of stewarding the Military Family Relief Fund and the Veterans’ Affairs Trust Fund. Let’s make sure our brave Hoosiers in uniform know that when their service is over, Indiana will have their back.”
