This Saturday, I had the honor of attending the Goodwill Military Stand Down event and presenting a proclamation co-authored by Rep. Bauer, Rep. Teshka and me. A heartfelt thank you to the Goodwill Veterans Resource Network for their incredible work and unwavering support for those who have served our country. Events like this are a powerful reminder of the importance of standing with our veterans, not just in words, but through action, services and meaningful community support. Our veterans have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms. I will continue to support policies that improve the lives of veterans and their families, who have given so much to both their country and community. It’s our duty to ensure they are never left behind. #INForAll ... See MoreSee Less

The Midwest Continental Divide Commission will host a series of public meetings to gather input from residents as it develops a long-term vision for St. Joseph County and its trail network. As a member of the Commission and author of Senate Bill 468, I am proud to see this initiative move forward. The legislation secured $2 million annually for the next 20 years to support community-driven planning focused on outdoor recreation, ecotourism and regional development. These engagement sessions are a vital opportunity for residents to help shape the future of our county. I encourage all community members to attend, listen, and share their perspectives.Public Engagement Sessions hosted by Community Redevelopment Partners:Tuesday, July 15• 3:00 PM – Rum Village Nature Center, 2626 S. It was an honor to speak with IBEW’s Sixth District Membership hosted by South Bend Local 153 this morning alongside Mayor James Mueller.By working with my colleagues across the aisle, we have been able to continue to protect project labor agreements and secure investments that will bring great paying jobs to working men and women within our community. At the end of the day, Unions are here to stay.My job is to make sure working families have a seat at the table and continue to have a say. Let’s keep building together for a better Indiana! #INForAll ... See MoreSee Less
