Yesterday, I had the privilege of joining local and state leaders at the Amazon Groundbreaking! As a voting member of the Budget Committee, I had the honor of voting in support of this project's approval. I am excited to see the positive impact this project will bring to St. Joseph County and Indiana through job creation and economic growth.
During the past legislative session, I was honored to co-author a bill (SB 49) granting catastrophically disabled veterans the opportunity to participate in a designated hunting day, alongside youth hunting days. This initiative ensures that veterans receive the support they need to engage in an activity that offers significant mental health benefits. I am excited about expanding access to other outdoor activities, such as hiking and fishing, and will continue to advocate for making the outdoors more accessible to all. ![]()

Yesterday, the Pensions Management Oversight Committee met to receive key updates from the Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS) and local pension funds. As a dedicated advocate for the financial health of our pension systems, I remain focused on protecting the future of our retirees.
