Today’s rally with ISTA was a powerful reminder of why I do this work. Our educators work hard every single day, often without the pay, resources or the respect they deserve. ![]()
I stood with teachers today because they’ve always stood up for our kids. I’ll keep fighting at the Statehouse for better pay, stronger schools and the support every classroom needs to thrive. Public education is worth showing up for, and today we showed up in droves. #INForAll
Hi friends and neighbors! Here's this week’s session recap! Make sure to stay tuned for more updates next week! #INForAll
Caught up with the Indiana University Cutters Little 500 team this morning while on my way to a meeting with Bloomington Mayor Thompson—such a fun surprise and a total fangirl moment with the riders and coaches! Wishing all the incredible Little 500 racers and teams the best of luck as they prepare for race day in two weeks! Can’t wait to cheer on everyone April 25 & 26! #INForAll
SB 10 has now passed both the House and Senate, bringing Indiana one step closer to making it harder for Hoosiers, especially young people and students, to vote. I’ve strongly opposed this bill from the beginning because it disqualifies student IDs as valid identification and fast-tracks voter roll purges with little oversight. This is not how we protect democracy. I’ll continue fighting to ensure our elections are accessible, fair and secure for all. #INForAll
HB 1689 just cleared its final hurdle in the Senate — and I’m proud to be a co-sponsor. ![]()
This bill is about dignity. It’s about ensuring medically complex Hoosiers aren’t navigating broken systems alone. By expanding the ombudsman program, HB 1689 gives more families a voice — and a dedicated advocate — in the care they depend on. ![]()
It also shines a light where it’s needed most: requiring annual reporting on Medicaid home and community-based services so families finally get the transparency and accountability they deserve.![]()
This is how we build a system that shows up for people — with compassion, with clarity and with care. I’ll keep working to make sure no Hoosier falls through the cracks. ![]()
We all deserve a state that works for every one of us. ![]()
