INDIANAPOLIS— Today, Senator Fady Qaddoura authored a resolution to honor Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action on the Senate Floor and was joined by all members of the Democratic caucus. State Senator Fady Qaddoura (D-Indianapolis) presented the resolution and offered the following statement:
“As someone who has lost a loved one to gun violence, I greatly appreciate the efforts of Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action to end gun violence in our communities. By speaking out and demanding action, these organizations have inspired generations of young people to rise up and get involved to end generational trauma caused by gun violence. Our caucus mourns victims of gun violence, stands with survivors and all of those who have lost loved ones, and applauds Moms and Students Demand Action’s advocacy for common-sense gun legislation that aims to protect all citizens, especially our children.”
