Hoosiers deserve transparency, honesty and REAL support. Real Alternatives promotes itself as a resource for women in crisis—so why focus on tailgate events with sponsors that contradict that mission? This isn’t about party lines; it’s about priorities. When so many pregnant Hoosiers are facing real challenges like hunger, poverty and lack of access to maternal care, we have to ask: where is the focus, and who is this really helping? #SupportNotDeceit #INForAll
🗞️ Lawmakers and Residents Speak Out on Parkview 🏥The Guardian’s latest story captures what many Hoosiers, myself included, are concerned about: healthcare costs keep rising, and when one hospital system dominates, it only makes things harder for people trying to afford care. Small business owners like Doug Allen have had to make tough calls, like dropping employee insurance. Families like Jayme Miller’s are taking on debt just to cover medical bills. No one should have to choose between paying bills and getting care. And with restrictions on reproductive healthcare here in Indiana, it’s even more concerning when maternal health services are limited. The story of Taysha Wilkinson-Sobieski is a heartbreaking reminder of how critical accessible healthcare is to our communities. We’ve started working on transparency, requiring hospitals to report cost data to the legislature in December. But it’s clear there’s more to do. I’ll keep pushing for changes that make sure Hoosiers have fair prices, real choices, and the care they need close to home. 🏥🤝📲📰 Read the full Guardian story here:
