Today, I introduced an amendment to include school social workers in the definition of teacher. Unfortunately, the amendment failed along party lines. This was a missed opportunity to address the student mental health crisis and recognize the essential role social workers play in supporting our students to improve their educational experience. I’ll keep advocating for solutions that prioritize the needs of our schools and students! #INForAll
